彼のこのメッセージは「順応性、柔軟性を持て」という意味です。私が普段 から撮影している多重露光は、見たままの光景を写すのではなく、目の前に ある光景を借りて私が思い描いた世界を表現しています。形あるものは変形 させ、そこにあるはずがないものを配置し、足し算と引き算を考える。 それは水が様々な形に変容するように。
私は写真を写しているのではなく絵を描いているのです。しかし、カメラと フィルムを使っている以上、仕上がるものは間違いなく写真です。ただ、 ファインダーを覗いてもその仕上がりは見えません。ファインダーは私に とってキャンバス。目の前の光景を形を変えられるパズルの1ピースとして、 ファインダーというキャンバスに当てはめ完成図を創造するのです。
つまらない固定概念と対峙し水のような”したたかさ”でこれからも作品作りを していきたいと思うのです。

His message means “Be flexible ”. I don’t express a real world on my multiple exposure, I always create my fantasy (crazy) world in it using some pieces of real world. I transform shapes, put something that should not be there and think addition and subtraction for my multiple exposures. It is like water transforming into different forms.
I think my acting is not shooting photography, it is drawing paintings. As you know, I use a camera and film. So my works must be photography. But even if I look into a camera viewfinder, I can’t see the final image in it. So a viewfinder is a canvas to me. It means I assemble sceneries like playing with deformable pieces of a puzzle and create my final image that is a multiple exposure on it.
Face to boring fixed ideas and continue to create works with toughness and flexibility like water.
