Color Film Gallery – X-ing（クロッシング）

ロモグラフィーを象徴するフィルムカメラ『LOMO LC-A』シリーズで撮影したカラー写真（一部を除く）のギャラリー。『多重露光』と『クロスプロセス現像』を駆使した作品は、私の代表的なスタイルであり、映画のワンシーンを切り取ったような豊かな物語性と、音楽が聞こえてくるかのようなリズム感が特徴です。フィルムによるアナログな技法を通じて、異なる国々の人々や風景が交錯し、現実とは異なる新たな印象世界が生まれます。 A gallery of color photographs (with some exceptions) captured using the iconic Lomography film camera, the ‘LOMO LC-A’ series. These works, created through the techniques of ‘multiple exposure’ and ‘cross-processing,’ represent my signature style. They are characterized by a rich narrative quality, as if capturing a scene from a film, and a rhythmic flow that evokes the sensation of music. Through the analog techniques of film, people and landscapes from different countries intersect, creating a new world of impressions that differs from reality.(X-ing – crossing）

Black & White Film Gallery – Mission

クリストファー・ノーラン監督の映画『インセプション』は2010年の公開と同時に世界に衝撃を与えた。予測不可能な脚本と、今まで誰も見たことのない映像が多くの人々を圧倒し、私もその一人である。彼がアクションシーンでアナログな手法にこだわることは有名だが、そんな彼への憧れから、私もフィルムカメラと多重露光というアナログな手法で、偶然が生む奇跡を操りながら幻想的な作品を作り続けている。特にモノクロフィルムによってその表現を追求してきた。 Christopher Nolan’s film “Inception” shocked the world upon its release in 2010. Its unpredictable script and visuals that no one had ever seen before overwhelmed many people, and I am one of them. His insistence on analog techniques for action scenes is well known, and my admiration for him has led me to continue creating dreamlike works using analog techniques such as film cameras and multiple exposures, manipulating miracles created by chance. In particular, I have been pursuing such expression with black-and-white film.

Color Film Gallery – Magritte on Film

ベルギーの画家ルネ・マグリットへのオマージュとして制作した、フィルムカメラによる多重露光のカラー写真。シュルレアリスト（超現実主義者）として活動したマグリットの作品は、私に多くの多重露光のヒントを与えてくれる。現実と現実を重ねるにもかかわらず、そこに意外な並列や不条理が生まれるのは、多重露光の魅力であり、シュルレアリスムの特徴の一つでもある。このシリーズは、『もしマグリットが写真家だったら…』と想像しながら、彼が描いてきたモチーフに私自身のアイデアを加えて制作。 Multiple exposure color photographs shot with a film camera, made as a tribute to the Belgian painter René Magritte. The work of Magritte, who worked as a Surrealist, gives me many hints for multiple exposures. The fact that unexpected parallels and absurdities are created in spite of the superimposition of reality on reality is the charm of multiple exposures and one of the characteristics of Surrealism. In this series of works, I imagine ‘If Magritte were a photographer…’ and add my own ideas to the motifs he has depicted.

超現実的な表現をするアナログな技法とは？

一見するとデジタル加工をした写真のように見える私の作品ですが、実は全てアナログな技法にて撮影、現像された結果によるものです。それは撮影時にフィルムの一コマに複数回撮影（露光）する「多重露光」と言う撮影技法と、カラーポジフィルムで撮影しネガ現像処理をする「クロスプロセス現像」と言う現像方法によるものです。詳細は下の赤いボタンからご覧ください。 At first glance, my photos may look like they’ve been digitally edited, but they are actually created using entirely analog techniques. I use a method called ‘multiple exposure,’ where I take several shots on the same frame of film, and a developing technique called ‘cross-processing,’ where I shoot with color positive film but develop it using negative film processing.
